Feyenoord

Netherlands
Founded 1908·Champions (1970)

Founded in 1908 in Rotterdam, Feyenoord were the first Dutch club to win the European Cup, beating Ajax to it by two years: in 1970 they beat Celtic 2-1 in the final, coming from behind on an extra-time goal from Ove Kindvall. The title arrived just a year after Celtic became the first British club to win the competition, part of a wider shift away from the traditional Spanish and Italian powers.
