Juventus won their two titles in 1985 and 1996, but are almost as well known for their lost finals — including 2015 and 2017 — making them, alongside Atlético Madrid, a byword for European runners-up. Their 1985 title was forever marked by the Heysel Stadium tragedy in Brussels, where 39 people died before the match against Liverpool. They are the most decorated club in Italian league history.
